A member of our employment team will contact candidates to schedule a brief initial screening call.

Applicants will be requested to submit a teaching philosophy statement and sample lesson plan in support of their application.

Candidates will undergo a formal interview process with members of our senior leadership team as well as teachers from their respective subject areas.

Our school conducts comprehensive review of documents, references, and background checks before issuing a formal offer of employment.

Mathematics Teacher
Split International School is seeking a full-time Mathematics Teacher. The position primarily focuses on high school mathematics (IB MYP and DP curriculum), with the possiblity of teaching one section of Grade 7 or 8 mathematics. Candidates who are interested in teaching any physics or technical design elective subjects in addition to mathematics are encouraged to apply as there is some flexibility in the specific subject courseload.
In addition to holding appropriate educational qualifications, candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent English language proficiency, and have the ability to plan lessons in line with contemporary pedagogical standards. Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with students both inside and outside the classroom, have strong communication skills, and a desire to engage and motivate students of different age groups. Additional expectations include creativity, professionalism, responsibility, and a willingness to work collaboratively in an international educational environment.
The school offers permanent full-time employment, opportunities for professional development, professional support, and work in a stimulating and multicultural environment that upholds high educational standards. We offer a competitive salary, and there is also the possibility of providing housing accommodation for candidates who do not reside in Split-Dalmatia County. English Literature Teacher
Split International School is seeking a full-time Teacher of English Language and Literature. The position includes working with students in both high school and upper elementary (grades 7-8). The role includes teaching English literature in accordance with the style and approach of the IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum in line with contemporary pedagogical standards in a discussion-based classroom.
In addition to holding appropriate educational qualifications, candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent English language proficiency as the majority of our students are native English speakers. Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with students both inside and outside the classroom, and have a desire to engage and motivate students of different age groups. Additional expectations include creativity, professionalism, responsibility, and a willingness to work collaboratively in an international educational environment. Additional qualifications or experience in teaching another subject, such as French, Spanish, German, Croatian, or History, are desireable.
